GLOBAL TOURISM FORUM
Mr Cetin Gurcun, Board Member and Secretary General TURSAB, will initiate necessary steps to set up Global Tourism Operations Office at Istanbul. Pursuing UFTAA objectives as enshrined in the Statutes, Tourism matters will henceforth occupy top place in deliberations of the Board.
Global Tourism Forum will work intensively toward creating 'tourism connect' and work towards bringing tangible benefits to the members.This office will supplement the forthcoming Global Office of UFTAA. Similar Tourism hubs at other locations are being explored as well.

DEVINDER OHRI Coopted on UFTAA BOARD
The Board filled up the vacancy in Affiliate Category, created due to the demise of Board Member Mr Abo Salem, by coopting Mr Devinder Ohri at Second Board Meeting held at New Delhi.
The cooption is for the remaining period of Mr Abo Salem's term on the Board, which is upto the AGA of 2017 and would help representation of Asia Region on UFTAA Board.
Mr Ohri of G.C. Nanda & Co, Singapore, apart from being an active Member on the Board till 2016 AGA, is presently the President of ASEANTA as well.
PRIVILEGED COMMUNICATION
As per the decisions made at the Second Board Meeting at New Delhi, communication related to IATA and other important matters of UFTAA will be categorized as PRIVILEGED MAIL.
UFTAA Services and Privileged Mail will hence forth be extended only to Members and Affiliates in good standing i.e. those who have paid their Annual Fees. Access to 'Members Area' on the website will also be restricted accordingly.

NATTA Celebrates its GOLDEN JUBILEE
NATTA - Nepal Association of Travel Agents Association with over 800 Members, celebrated its 50th Anniversary and held 21st Convention, under the leadership of President Mr. Madhu Sudan Acharya,at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Durbarmarg, Kathmandu on 9th Dec, 2016.
The celebration kick-started with the address of Hon. Minister Mr. Jiwan Bahadur Shahi and Key Note Speech by UFTAA President Mr. Sunil Kumar Rumalla, was followed by Cake-cutting and an exciting entertainment program that rocked the show. A rare performance by Kathmandu Circus hypnotized the audience while dance performances, Live music band made the event illustrious and fabulous.
